Bringing the two APAC events together offers a seamless experience for members of the food, beverage and nutraceutical communities.

After a two-year in-person absence, Vitafoods Asia returns this fall to the APAC region, delivering opportunities for the nutraceutical community to connect in a new, expanded environment. Vitafoods Asia will co-locate with Fi Asia at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, and online. The smart events will begin digitally on 26 September, and convene the in-person experience from 5 to 7 October.

The co-located exhibitions are expected to attract an international audience of more than 600 exhibitors and 21,000 attendees. Vitafoods Asia focuses on nutraceutical ingredients and finished dietary supplement solutions, while Fi Asia brings together local, regional, and global ingredient suppliers, distributors and F&B manufacturers.

Natasha Berrow, Executive Vice President Food, at Informa Markets, the organiser of the events, comments: "Bringing together Fi Asia and Vitafoods Asia is a timely move, and one which will allow visitors and attendees to gain insights into ingredient innovations and trends throughout the entire supply chain. It is also the perfect opportunity to network and discover suitable solutions and partners—as well as a big platform of ideas.”

Certainly, there is great interest across the APAC region in healthier food and beverage solutions, and unique delivery formats, all complemented by traditional food supplement products. Thailand is one of the biggest markets in the APAC region, with the Thai Ministry of Commerce reporting sales of US$3.5 billion across the nutraceuticals industry back in 2019. It says the three key trends are products aimed at healthy ageing, natural supplementation, and personalised nutrition—all topics that will be highlighted in the Vitafoods content programme.

Visitors to Vitafoods Asia and Fi Asia can expect a range of sessions in the expo hall theatres as well as features designed to showcase innovation across the APAC region. Innovation tours for the food and beverage and nutraceutical markets will be hosted by NutriMarketing, while Innova will power an Innovation Zone with complementary features on F&B and supplements.
