Elizabeth Candalario has worked at the intersection of food and wine, climate, and agriculture for the past two decades. She recently joined Mad Agriculture as director of strategic sartnerships. Mad Agriculture, a USA charitable enterprise, is keenly focused on assisting broad acre farms growing GMO crops for animals to transition to growing organic and regenerative crops for humans. Prior to joining Mad Agriculture, Elizabeth served as president of Demeter USA, the non-profit certifier of Biodynamic farms and products. She is excited to develop new and disruptive models that move supply chains to value chains and honors and rewards farmers for stewarding their land for people and planet.

Erik Bruun Bindslev
Owner, Merika Advisor

Since 2002, Erik Bruun Bindslev has been part of creating some of the most visionary privately-owned businesses driving impact and transformation of the global food industry. He is a master of creating and leading sustainable food and drinks brands, most of which have been among the avant-garde of sustainability. Erik has worked with Danone, Cojean, HRH Prince of Wales, Sir Paul McCartney & Daughters, The Bamford Family and has been behind sustainable players such as Plenish, Rebel Kitchen, Numi Organic Tea, Scharffenberger Chocolate Maker, Karma Cola. He is the owner of Merika Advisory, director of value creation at the Danish Sovereign Fund, and co-creator The Klosters Forum.

Temitope Jebutu is a Nigerian Agribusiness professional with over 17 years of experience in Operations Management working with multinational and international organizations. He is currently the Managing Director of AACE Food Processing and Distribution Limited which produces spices, seasonings, snacks and complementary foods for local and international markets. Temitope is a change agent in the Nigeria Agricultural sector and remains committed to promoting nutrition, producing nutritious food, improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and also ensuring gender equality and women empowerment in the agribusiness landscape

Tensie Whelan
Clinical Professor for Business and Society, NYU Stern School of Business

Tensie Whelan is the founder and Director of NYU Stern School of Business’s Center for Sustainable Business, where she brings 25 years of experience working on sustainability issues. As President of the Rainforest Alliance, she built the organization from a $4.5 million to $50 million budget, transforming the engagement of business with sustainability, recruiting 5,000 companies in more than 60 countries. Her previous work included serving as Executive Director of the New York League of Conservation Voters, Vice President of the National Audubon Society, and Managing Editor of Ambio, a journal of the Swedish Academy of Sciences. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards and corporate advisory boards for companies such as Unilever and Nespresso and currently serves on the advisory boards of ALO Advisors, Buzz on Earth, Giant Ventures, and
Inherent Group. She was most recently appointed to the board of InvestIndustrial SPAC, and is an Advisor to the Future Economy Project for Harvard Business Review and is a member of the “Exploring the Future of Sustainable Production and Consumption” Working Group of the Council on Competitiveness. Tensie was awarded the Stern Faculty Excellence Award in 2020
