ASEAN harmonisation of health supplements – video

Update on the harmonisation process and compliance requirements for nutraceutical brand success in one of the world's largest trade regions.

In this presentation by Wai Mun Poon, regulatory affairs consultatant at Wong SJ Asia, hear about the ASEAN Agreement on Health Supplements, which is finalised and due to be signed by the end of 2021. Learn about some of the key challenge considerations, and the 10 ASEAN Member States that are in the process of incorporating these harmonised requirements into their national laws.

Wai Mun Poon is an independent regulatory affairs consultant. She specialises in food supplements and functional food in a regional capacity. For over 10 years, Poon has been advising companies on regulatory strategy for product development and marketing. She also manages the Secretariat of Scientific Committee for ASEAN TMHS PWG. She is a biotechnologist and graduated with a MSc in Biopharmaceuticals.
