So far, datasets targeting the gut microbiome have focused on the faecal microbiome; Nimble says it is working to bring the “true gut microbiome” to the forefront of the nutraceutical space.

The Canadian startup was crowned Most Innovative Service or Technology Supporting the Nutraceutical Industry at the inaugural Vitafoods Europe Startup Innovation Challenge.

We caught up with co-founder and CEO Sabina Bruehlmann after she received the award at a ceremony hosted live at the event in Geneva last month.
