Iontec evaluates the effectiveness of carcinine on glycation-induced cellular senescence, in comparison to L-carnosine and its metabolites. The objective of the study was to explore whether carcinine could be a more effective dipeptide for fighting cell senescence induced by a glycation agent, an early product of glucose autoxidation.
