Dr Andreas Biller is the founder of Dr Biller Biosulting & Pharma. He worked previously as the managing director of medium-sized pharmaceutical companies, overseeing growth and development. He has growth-oriented management experience in business development, production, medicine and corporate development. He has developed innovative, scientifically proven medicinal products and food supplements, and has proven success in founding and expanding new business areas and customer groups

Jennifer Murphy, MS, RD Director of Innovation & Clinical Development, PLT Health Solutions

Jen Murphy is a registered dietitian with a master’s in clinical nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh. In her role with PLT Health Solutions, she leverages more than a decade of experience with expertise in ingredient development and a strong foundation in clinical design for claims substantiation.  Jen has helped to guide innovation and commercialization strategies for hundreds of products. Prior to joining PLT, Jen was R&D manager in technology and product innovation at GNC, where she worked on new product ideation, product formulation, and scientific review of ingredient studies for claims development. The latter involved working closely with ingredient partners to improve clinical designs and optimize their ability to substantiate claims. While at GNC, Jen also led their ingredient discovery program, which focused on identifying best in class, clinically supported ingredients to drive new product innovation.

Juan Arias Founding & Managing Partner, ABG Intellectual Property

Juan Arias co-founded ABG Intellectual Property in 2003. He has more than 30 years of patent experience. His practice focuses on patent prosecution, including EPO oppositions, opinion work, including freedom to operate and validity opinions, and litigation support in the areas of organic chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Additionally, he has participated as a technical expert in numerous cases of patent litigation in Spain. He is a qualified European Patent Attorney (EQE, 2004) and a Spanish Patent and Trademark Agent (2003). Before founding ABG, Juan headed the Chemistry Department at a Spanish IP firm in Madrid (2000 to 2003) and was an examiner at the European Patent Office in Munich (1991-2000). Prior to his patent career, Juan performed research on protein chemistry at the Max-Planck-Institut für Biochemie in Munich (1989-90).
