As Philip Graves, consumer behaviour expert, points out, if you take a look at any high street in Europe, you'll see it's inundated with cafes, restaurants and takeaways. While the rise in popularity of eating out has resulted in a richly diverse food culture, it has also lead in part to an increase in obesity rates across the continent. Figures from Public Health England suggest one in five meals is now eaten outside the home, and Graves joins us to discuss what responsibility the food and drink sector has towards public health and how consumers can be encouraged to make healthy choices in the out-of-home sector.
