Education: Pharmacy Degree with Honors in Physiology & Nutrition, Public Health Diploma and Executive MBA. Sergio has a large experience of more than 25 years in the Fine Chemical industry, mainly in nutraceuticals and food ingredient development. He has been involved in Multinational Corporate Development and Marketing, including nutraceuticals and food ingredients as are relevant examples: neohesperidin dihydrochalcone, citrus flavonoids, L-arabinose and citicoline. He was co-founder and General Manager of Bioglane, a biocatalysis Technology-Based Company where he was leading the industrial development of rare sugars and sugar mimetics.
